Authorities reported that a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted by several men after exiting a nightclub in Surrey. The attack took place between 02:00 BST and 04:00 on Saturday, with the incident occurring near Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road. The victim stated she was pursued following her departure from Labyrinth Epsom nightclub.

Det Insp Aine Matthews emphasized the emotional impact of the event, noting: “We understand this is an extremely distressing incident and the victim is being supported by specialist officers.” The police department confirmed they are still gathering full details of the suspects, though inquiries are ongoing to pinpoint their identities and locations.

“Our investigation is in its early stages. We are working at pace to develop our picture of the suspects, and we will share details as soon as we are able to.”

Officers are appealing for public assistance, urging anyone who was present in the vicinity between 2am and 4am to come forward if they witnessed or interacted with the woman in distress. Information from witnesses could significantly aid the case.
