Tragedy in Primrose Hill: Stabbing Victim ‘Cannot Be Replaced’
A 21-year-old filmmaking student, Finbar Sullivan, was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill, leaving his father deeply affected. Christopher Sullivan, 65, expressed his grief to the Daily Mail, emphasizing that his son, who had aspirations to become a cameraman, “can never be replaced.”
The incident occurred near the park’s viewing area in North London shortly after 6:30 PM BST on Tuesday. Sullivan, who had been given a camera for his birthday, was involved in a confrontation that led to his death at the scene. His grandfather, Michael Seresin, was a renowned cinematographer, working on iconic films such as *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban* and *Rambo III*.
A Life Shaped by Creativity
Finbar was studying at the London Screen Academy and had started producing music videos for drill rap artists under the moniker Sully Shot It, as reported by the Daily Mail. Sullivan described his son as “a beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy” and stressed that he was not a gang member, but rather a passionate film enthusiast.
“He’d gotten very ill recently and everyone was so worried about him. It affected his eyesight, but he was getting better. He was a visual person.” — Ellen Kinnally, a PR professional from New York and friend of Sullivan
A second individual in his early 20s sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the altercation and was hospitalized. The Metropolitan Police have urged anyone with information, photographs, or footage from the scene to contact them. As of now, no arrests have been made.
