Murder arrest over Primrose Hill stabbing
Following a fatal stabbing in Primrose Hill, a 27-year-old man has been taken into custody on murder charges. The incident occurred on Tuesday when officers responded to a report of a conflict at the North London location, where filmmaking student Finbar Sullivan, 21, was found seriously wounded. Sullivan succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Authorities also detained a 25-year-old individual on suspicion of aiding the suspect. Both men were held on Friday and are currently under police investigation. The call to emergency services came shortly after 18:30 BST, leading to the discovery of a second man in his early 20s with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road. He was hospitalized with injuries deemed not life-threatening or permanently disabling.
“Finbar’s family are receiving ongoing support from specialist teams during this incredibly challenging period,” stated Det Insp Andy Griffin. “Though we’ve made two arrests, our officers are diligently working to identify all individuals connected to the event.” Griffin also acknowledged public assistance so far and encouraged anyone with insights or footage from the area to reach out.
