Tragic Incident in Flitwick Leaves Family in Deep Grief
A 13-year-old boy, Noah Campbell, lost his life in a collision on Greenfield Road in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, at 11:50 PM BST on Friday. The crash involved a car, a bicycle, and a scooter, and two other teenagers were seriously injured. Police have since confirmed the identities of the individuals charged in connection with the incident.

Noah’s family described him as a “lively, cheerful, handsome, and athletic” individual who was “deeply admired by many.” In a statement, they emphasized his love for time spent with friends and family, calling them the core of his life. While football was his primary passion, he also excelled in rugby, cricket, and athletics. Outside of sports, he enjoyed staying active and adventurous, often challenging himself at the gym and the bike park.

Charges Against Two Individuals Following Collision
A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged in relation to the crash. Jamie Fountain, from Fir Tree Close, Flitwick, faces multiple offenses including causing death by careless driving and causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs. He is also charged with two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. Additionally, he was accused of failing to stop at the scene of the accident, failing to report it, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Updates on Injured Teenagers
Preliminary reports indicate that one of the injured boys remains hospitalized in critical condition, while the other was treated for serious injuries and has since been discharged. The accused, Ellie Ireland from Wingate Drive, Ampthill, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Both Jamie Fountain and Ellie Ireland are set to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, having been remanded in custody.
